ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Personality Academics
Lilly is independent and is learning to accept help graciously when needed. She is kind to others who are different from herself. She has many charming characteristics, whether it be relaying her day to others or dying part of her hair purple! She will ask in a matter-of-fact manner, which is positive as it illustrates that she has found her ability to assert herself for her own beliefs.

Like her older sister, Abigail has a great sense of humour. She has a boisterous laugh and excellent smile. She is very resilient and willing to step up to any challenge she is faced with. Abigail loves to talk and interact with people of all ages. Her foster mother would describe her as bubbly, friendly and flamboyant.

Kelly is a very engaging child who loves to help with the household chores. She loves animals and spends a lot of time with the dog and the horses at the foster home. Kelly thrives with one-on-one attention.

Tyler is an energetic child and you can usually find him outside playing tag with the family dog. He enjoys spending time with his peers, but needs supervision to help him make safe and good decisions. Tyler’s foster mother would describe him as “a real lovable character”.

Although the eldest sibling Lilly does not reside in the same home as Abigail, Kelly and Tyler, all four children enjoy spending time with each other.
Lilly likes school. She will always do her best to ensure she never misses a day. She puts forth a great effort at school, though her reading is still challenging. She makes a good effort to make friends and wants to stay at her current school even when she moves. While she does need extra support in reading, she is drawn to books that are “comic”. Her foster mother would best describe Lilly as sweet, thoughtful and very caring.

Abigail loves school and she is in a fully integrated classroom. She is well liked by her peers who will play with her at recess. At school, Abigail puts forth a great effort, but sometimes needs extra support. She attends school around her appointments and has the support of an Educational Assistant.

Like her siblings, Kelly also loves school. She enjoys attending and socializing with her peers. Kelly always tries her best, but continues to need ongoing support academically. She receives weekly tutoring. The school is aware of her challenges and makes accommodations for her accordingly.

Tyler enjoys attending school. He is a very happy-go-lucky little boy that tries his best, but experiences difficulty with academics and memory. An occupational therapist was invited into the school to do an assessment on Tyler to help keep him calm and attentive in the classroom.
Special Considerations Matching Considerations

Lilly is currently in counseling for trauma that she has faced over her lifetime. She participates willingly. This will need to continue in her future. While the trauma surfaces at times such as nighttime, she is able to work through it with a calm, nurturing approach from a trusted adult.

Abigail currently walks with a gait with her right leg in a brace to support her ankle. She is resilient, as she has transferred her dominant right side to her left seamlessly. There are assisted devices in the home to assist with her daily self-care. As a result of an early life experience, some of Abigail's development may have been impacted, however this does not physically slow her down. Abigail has a team of professionals that work with her to improve her overall health and well-being. There is a case manager, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, rehab therapist and a speech therapist. She attends counseling. Due to her special needs, Abigail does require 24-hour supervision.

Like her sister, as a result of an early life experience, some of Kelly’s development may have been impacted, but she is a resiliant girl! Kelly attends counselling once a week and she has an occupational therapist, speech and language therapist and a tutor.

Tyler is currently attending counselling once a week to support him in processing his early life experiences.

These four siblings need a caregiver or caregivers that are energetic, and feel that they can offer lots of love, care and supervision. They would do best in a family willing to navigate the health care system and accommodate the children’s frequent appointments. A strong and secure support system will be needed to ensure these loving and affectionate siblings reach their fullest potential. Lilly, Abigail, Kelly and Tyler are looking for a home where they would be together and loved equally.
Openness Questions?
This lovely sibling group of four may have some openness with her biological father about twice a year. There may also be some face-to-face contact with a maternal great aunt and great uncle. They will need to have contact with their former foster caregivers going forward.

Lilly has made a strong connection with her current foster home’s son who is in college. They have a special bond that will need to be incorporated into her future, as relationships are important to her. This may be in the form of calls or visits.
