Peter's charismatic and bright personality truly shines once he is comfortable with those around him. He takes pride in his personal appearance and will express himself creatively in his style. Like many of us, Peter has his best days when he has had a good nights sleep and a balanced diet. He does best with thorough routines and expectations. Peter is in a regular classroom and receives support as needed from his teacher. He does best when he has a clear understanding of expectations, and is provided tools and supports to accomplish his tasks. He has been continuing to work on positive peer interactions.

Peter's early life experiences has impacted his emotional and behavioural needs, and he is benefiting from the patience and understanding of his current supports as he processes his past. Peter’s confident and outgoing personality can often mask his feelings of anxiety and insecurities. He currently participates in bi-weekly counselling to support him in processing his difficult early life experiences.

Peter has stated he wants to be part of a family that will provide safety and security for him. He has a positive and trusting relationship with his current caregiver. He has made positive connections with those who have demonstrated he can trust and rely on them. Peter requires of a loving, predictable and supportive family that will commit to lifelong permanence. Peter would do best if he were the youngest or only child in his adoptive home.
