ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Personality Matching Considerations
Harvey has an abundance of creativity and imagination, and it is great fun to see what he will create next! People who know Harvey enjoy his easy to engage personality, his ability to develop a great self-awareness about the goals that he is working on, and especially his loving and affectionate nature. Harvey would benefit from being the only child in the home or in a home where the other children are significantly older. In his foster home, Harvey benefits from having clear limits, consistency, routines and structure.
Special Considerations Academics

Although Harvey may not have had the opportunity to establish meaningful and trusting relationships when he was in his early years, he is demonstrating that he is able to form trusting relationships with people that have his best interest at heart. Harvey tries hard to turn things around when he gets off track. Harvey wants to be adopted and to have a family of his own.

Harvey is doing very well at school! Some of his favorite subjects include Physical Education and the Arts. Harvey benefits from having a full-time Educational Assistant who stays with him throughout the day at school. This support is proving to be very worthwhile, as Harvey is developing coping skills and strategies that are necessary to help him become independent. Everyone is very proud of the fact that he is making great progress in becoming aware of his behaviour, taking responsibility for his actions, staying on task and completing assignments.
Openness Questions?
He is currently seeing his parents on his birthday and at Christmas, however, once Harvey is placed in his adoptive home, openness can be discussed to accommodate his best interests. Please see Harvey's profile on the AdoptOntario Waiting Children list with the case ID 11294.
