ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Personality Academics
Jenessa is a pleasant young girl who is generally in a chipper mood. A true animal lover, Jenessa likes helping take care of the cat and two dogs in her foster home. She will even clean the litter box without being asked. Along the same lines, Jenessa likes to keep her room clean and she likes doing her daily chores.

Jeremy wakes up happy, looking forward to starting his day and digging in to his breakfast. When he is not busy with family activities, There is no question that Jeremy’s pleasant and agreeable personality makes him a great kid to hang out with. He especially loves the time and attention he gets from adults.
Jenessa enjoys going to school where she seems to do well with a modified curriculum. Her teachers say that Jenessa follows instructions and the rules and routines of the classroom. They also describe Jenessa as having a pleasant nature and a positive attitude toward learning and developing peer relationships. Jenessa is a polite and friendly student who works hard on all subject areas and will ask for help when necessary.

Jeremy is doing well in school, with specialized supports to help him in his academic progress. He sometimes gets frustrated when he does not understand what is being taught, although he is benefiting from the modified curriculum and the ongoing support of a one-to-one Educational Assistant. He is working hard and making great progress! It is no surprise that Physical Education is his favorite subject. He is able to play as part of a team and his interest in sports helps him in social interactions.
Special Considerations Matching Considerations

Jenessa is a healthy and active young teenage girl who very much enjoys adult attention but also likes to take care of her younger brother, even though she is reminded that it isn’t her job to take care of him and to enjoy being a kid. She is a thoughtful and caring girl who has a desire to work through her childhood trauma and allow herself to have a family to call her own.

Jenessa and Jeremy need an active two-parent family where it may be necessary to divide and conquer, given their different interests and their need for one-to-one time. A stay-at-home parent would be an added benefit. It would also be best if there were no other children in home or if the other children were much older. Although Jenessa loves animals, Jeremy does not much care for them, so it may be best if there were no animals in the home.
Openness Questions?
Jenessa and Jeremy have a close relationship with their foster family – and especially their foster siblings! So it is important for them to be able to stay in touch with them. They will also continue to be in contact with their grandmother.
