Kimberly is an adorable and lovable girl. She has a beautiful smile and is very engaging and social. Kimberly is an outgoing girl with a very pleasant personality who loves giving and getting hugs. She has built wonderful connections to her foster family and the other workers who are a part of her life. Kimberly had experienced a minor medical condition at birth that affected her, but it has since been corrected. She has some cognitive and developmental needs, but has good language skills which allow her to express herself and follow directions. Kimberly is receiving the care and support needed to help her develop.

She has built wonderful connections to her foster family and the other workers who are a part of her life. Kimberly had experienced a minor medical condition at birth that affected her, but it has since been corrected. She has some cognitive and developmental needs, but has good language skills which allow her to express herself and follow directions. Kimberly is receiving the care and support needed to help her develop. She would benefit from ongoing medical input from medical professionals to enhance her development. She would need to have the right supports and services in place to help her achieve success. Kimberly is making gains in all areas of development in spite of her developmental needs. Kimberly continues to develop life skills that are appropriate to her age and level of development.

Personality Academics
Kimberly is an engaging and social child who loves to entertain! She enjoys singing, dancing, playing with toys, and caring for her stuffed animals. Kimberly loves to play with her peers, and is most successful with supervision and reminders regarding turn-taking. Kimberly takes great joy in attending her gymnastics and cheerleading programs. Kimberly currently attends full days in Senior Kindergarten and is making gains in the classroom. She benefits from educational supports in the classroom, such as an Educational Assistant and thoroughly enjoys the school day. She reaches her daily goals by taking sensory and movement breaks throughout the day. Kimberly is learning to print her name and can now identify twelve letters!
Special Considerations Matching Considerations

Kimberly receives occupational and physiotherapy at school and has been referred to speech therapy. She is receiving therapeutic support to help her build trust and develop positive attachments. Kimberly is also receiving medical support from various medical professionals in the community. Kimberly’s educational assistant at school helps Kimberly with positive behavior and regulation.

Kimberly would need a loving and caring family that will be able to provide her with a great deal of care to help with her overall wellbeing. She would bring warmth and joy to her adoptive family. A family for Kimberly would need to be comfortable working with various professionals and following through with the different services and supports that will assist her in her development. Preference will be given to families who share Kimberly’s Roman Catholic religious heritage.
