Grand River Zone ARE 2018
Children’s Aid Societies in the Grand River region would like to invite AdoptReady families from this region to this ARE event. Families will be able to network with workers, each other, and find potential matches to children in the Grand River area.
Attendees are invited to a special presentation by Terra Bovingdon
Terra Bovingdon has been a child and family therapist specializing in the area of attachment, adoption, and foster care for the past 20 years. She has worked with families, child protection services, private adoption agencies, international adoption clinics, and various agencies in a consulting capacity. She has presented nationally and internationally, and provided educational training to pre- and post-adoptive families, as well as training to adoption workers. She has also authored two children’s books on transitioning to new families, “Even the Small Stuff Changes” and “The Unexpected Journey”.
